Helen Hartley
Helen joined Definia in October 2026 as a Principal Consultant, bringing experience in large-scale transformation, person-centred design and stakeholder management, with a particular focus on healthcare and pharmaceuticals, including laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
A stakeholder whisperer at heart, Helen is at her best when she’s working out what makes people tick, understanding the dynamics between teams and turning competing drivers into shared outcomes. She combines emotional intelligence with practical delivery, drawing on a background that spans coaching and, in a previous life, managing a nightclub. For Helen, success isn’t just delivering a project. It’s defining tangible benefits, delivering on the promises made and leaving people and organisations demonstrably better than when she started.
Outside of work, you’ll find Helen hiking in Lancashire with her fiancé. She practises yoga most days, enjoys live music and reading books about AI and business psychology. A keen foodie, if she’s not in the kitchen, a tapas restaurant is the way to her heart.
