A world-leading transport solutions provider planned to modernise its operations by launching a Finance D365 Transformation Programme to replace its legacy Autoline ERP system — an outdated platform no longer fit for purpose. An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system integrates core business processes such as finance, procurement and supply chain, enabling greater efficiency and scalability.
However, the programme was paused due to misalignment within the central IT team, loss of sponsorship and undefined business processes. To make an informed investment decision, the client needed an experienced partner to conduct a comprehensive Health Check Assessment and ‘Re‑Define’ solution, ensuring they were fully prepared for a successful programme initiation.
Design
To meet the client’s needs, we deployed an experienced Financial Transformation (FinTrans) Programme Lead to oversee the project, collaborating closely with the client’s Regional Change Manager, who brought valuable insights from previous D365 implementations. This partnership enabled us to apply lessons learned and recommend a tailored, pragmatic approach to move the programme forward.
