Spotlight on Olga Dziugiel, PMO Analyst

Each month we spotlight a member of the Definia team to better understand their role, how they support our clients and the latest trends they’re observing in the change and transformation space.
To get to know Olga Dziugiel better, Marketing Manager Alice Hankin sat down with her to learn more about her background, her views on business transformation, and what she is most looking forward to about the future of Definia.
Can you tell us more about yourself and your professional background? How long have you been at Definia?
I started my career in HR, which has always been close to my heart, before moving into recruitment. A few years ago, consulting found me, and I shifted my focus toward delivery management. I’ve been with Definia for almost three years now, celebrating my third anniversary this February.
I enjoy working with people, streamlining processes and supporting teams to deliver projects successfully. It’s rewarding to see the impact of well-organised work and collaborative effort.
What are you responsible for at Definia, and how do you help clients?
At Definia, I’m responsible for our Project Management as a Service (PMaaS) offering, working alongside the delivery team to streamline processes, maintain clear governance and keep projects and programmes on track.
I help clients by providing structure and oversight, ensuring work is coordinated effectively and supporting teams to achieve successful outcomes with clarity and confidence.
In your view, what are the biggest challenges facing businesses today when it comes to change and transformation?
I believe one of the biggest challenges in transformation programmes is that the human side is often overlooked. Organisations can become so focused on tools and processes that they lose sight of the fact that it’s people who ultimately determine success. For me, putting people first — helping them understand how their roles will change, whether through new responsibilities or automation — is essential for teams to feel confident and engaged.
Processes that don’t align with roles can create unnecessary complexity, leading to testing challenges, extended hypercare (the intensive support period immediately after a system or change goes live) and slower progress. Misalignment between organisational goals and how teams operate can also hold programmes back. Structured approaches, such as model-design-deliver, help break complex initiatives into clear, manageable stages, providing clarity and oversight throughout.
When people feel supported, processes are clear and expectations are aligned, adoption improves, engagement rises and teams grow confident in new ways of working. This creates an environment where change is embraced, outcomes are delivered and the business achieves meaningful, lasting impact.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Definia, and what excites you most about its future?
Working at Definia means being part of a team that’s navigating growth and change. It’s exciting to bring in new subject matter experts, refine how we work, shape new teams and roll out products that make a real difference for our clients.
“Looking ahead, there’s so much potential — strengthening relationships with existing clients, exploring new markets and seeing how our work comes together to deliver meaningful outcomes. With a clear focus on building a strong operating model, I’m genuinely motivated by what’s next for Definia.”
What drives you outside of work?
Outside of work, I love being front row and centre — whether that’s on the court or in the audience. Historically, that meant courtside at an NBA game or watching a tennis match, but more recently it’s meant cheering at my nephew’s first football games. I’m equally drawn to the thrill of live performance, from the energy of Hamilton to the drama of a great play, such as Shakespeare or Chekhov.
I really enjoy being part of the action, whether that’s on stage, on the field or on the court. Sports and performance run in my family, and it’s fun to follow that path in my own way.
