Spotlight on Bharat Mianger, Delivery Manager

We’re excited to welcome Bharat Miangar as the newest member of the Definia team! As a Delivery Manager and former Definia client, Bharat brings a wealth of experience in project, programme and portfolio management across retail, outsourcing, insurance and automotive sectors.
To get to know him better, Marketing Manager Alice Hankin sat down with Bharat to learn more about his background, his views on business transformation and what he’s most looking forward to in this new role at Definia.
Welcome to Definia! Can you tell us more about yourself and your professional background?
I joined Definia in December 2025, bringing experience in project, portfolio and programme management, as well as strong service management and client-facing skills.
I’ve worked across retail, outsourcing, insurance and automotive industries, with the majority of my engagements being client-facing on the business side. I’ve delivered e-commerce, CRM, case management, diagnostics and telematics solutions throughout my career.
What inspired you to make the move from client to consultant, and what will you be focusing on in your new role?
Prior to joining Definia, I was working at an automotive company, which was a client of Definia’s. At the end of last year, Rachael Hays – Definia’s Transformation Director – and I met up to discuss some exciting transformation opportunities that she was driving. My background in working directly with clients was a key factor in building trust and partnership, and we also exchanged ideas about the culture of the organisation and her plans for the future.
I was consistently impressed with Definia’s ways of working, so when Rachael asked me to join as Delivery Manager, it was an easy decision. Now, my primary responsibility is ensuring we have the right capability and capacity for our key clients and building positive client satisfaction.
In your view, what are the biggest challenges facing businesses today when it comes to change and transformation?
The most important thing is managing expectations with our clients — we need to ensure that we’re providing the right services for their specific projects and programmes. I’ve been here for two months, and I can already see the positive impact this focus is having.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Definia?
The welcome I’ve received at Definia has been tremendous. We have a clear culture of working together and supporting each other. I’ve settled in well and cannot wait for the ways in which my career will grow and develop here!
